REIGN IN PAIN TOUR
REIGN IN PAIN TOUR
Reign in Blood was released on October 6, 1986. Less than a month later, Slayer launched the Reign in Pain Tour at the Moore Theatre in Seattle on Halloween night. Rick Sales, who had joined the band as tour manager, remembered Slayer's live power: "I saw the frenzy of the music and the audience – it was a religious experience. It was the most exciting rock show I'd seen since I was a kid..." The Reign in Pain Tour swept across the US and Europe, running until June 5, 1987.
