I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...I purchased "SHOW NO MERCY"in 1983(about the exact same time as "KILL'EM ALL"by METALLICA(WHO later posed and pussed out),and every since that sacred day when my ears heard those KILLER riffs andFLESH SHREDDING solos w/SLASHING vocal I knew they were a band of superior talent.ALSO throughout the years(test of time)they NEVER wimped out,unlike many others too numerous to list and album after album always met or exceeded expectations(and Im sure always will) from a band who is "THE TOP".Their music gets ones "BLOOD BOILING"and fills ones body with a type of "UNCONTROLLABLE RAGE" that always feels sooo good!! DAVE in my world is the best drummer out there(and I have listened to alot of DEATH/THRASH/SPEED/BLACK metal)KERRY and JEFF (GUITAR GODS) and TOMS bass and voice straight from the deepest,darkest and delightful depts of HELL!!! I have never seen them in concert,cuz I live in a small shitty city in south dakota,but its my darkest wish to see them atleast once before I go......and that are just a few of the reasons "SLAYER" is my all-time favorite band!
