I'm not a Metal nor a Trash fan but Slayer is something else to me.
It's obviously Trash but it's combined with the brutal agressivity of Punk and Hardcore.
I'm into Free Jazz and Avant-garde stuff (well that doesn't mean I'm pedant..) and I just love the way Jeff and Kerry solo, ATONAL CRAZY SHIT !!! YEAH!!!
Plus I'm a fan of Dave Lombardo cuz of his work in Fantomas....and....NOT TO MENTION TOM'S VOICE, THE PERFECT SCREAMING TONE EVER WITH A LOT OF ANGER AND DRIVING THE BAND SO INTENSELY!!!!
Well some people say : "they never change cuz they're Slayer" "they never sold out" "they're Satanists" "Rascist lyrics" "always the same riff" "sometimes Tom is trying too hard to sing".....BLAH BLAH BLAH...
Well I just think it's a great band!
