Re: Celebrate 25 Years of 'Reign in Blood'

As Slayer celebrate the anniversary of, to me, their career-spanning masterpiece ''Reign In Blood'',it's bard to believe that 25 years have gone by since Slayer's 1986 awesome release. In my opinion, ''Reign In Blood'' still stands to this day as the peak of excellence, not only for Slayer, but for all thrash/speed metal bands on the planet. The 28 or so minutes of pure sonic attack that is ''Reign In Blood''laid the foundation for Slayer to build their mastery of the world's finest thrash/ speed metal upon. Even now in a market full of thrash bands and ''wannabes'' nothing comes even remotely close to ''Reign In Blood''.I'm willing to bet that back in 1986,Slayer had no idea that the album they had just released would prove to be,without a doubt, the greatest thrash/ speed album ever. So,congratulations to Slayer for the 25th. anniversary of their incredible ''Reign In Blood ''.

Freedom of Speech?I

I recently saw a SLAYER interview from an appearance the band made on the JIMMY KIMMEL SHOW...which was great to check out. I was stunned by a comment Tom Araya made about how fuckin' bad censorship of SLAYER'S music is getting...I was'nt stunned by the censorship, just how extreme it's getting.Tom said that songs like ''Cult'' and''Disciple'' are being banned from ...internet radio ...can you believe it? Even guitar wizard Kerry King was amazed. Until Tom said it about internet radio...even Kerry did'nt know it was that bad! What the fuck happened to ''freedom of speech''? Whitewizard.
