SLAYER WELCOMES PAUL BOSTAPH BACK TO THE FOLD

Slayer's Tom Araya and Kerry King are very pleased to announce that Paul Bostaph has rejoined the band on a full-time basis. Bostaph will be behind the drum kit beginning June 4 when Slayer kicks off the first leg of its 2013 international tour in Warsaw, Poland. Gary Holt will continue to fill in for fallen guitarist Jeff Hanneman. Slayer's 2013 itinerary will have them playing 35 dates that will include headline shows as well as a number of major summer festivals in Europe, Eastern Europe and South America between June and October. The complete itinerary is below. "Paul's a great drummer and a good friend, and we're very happy that he's decided to rejoin the band," said Tom Araya. "We're still pretty numb from the loss of Jeff, but we don't want to disappoint our European fans, and we need to begin moving forward...having Paul back in the band makes that a whole lot easier." "I'm very excited to be rejoining Slayer," added Bostaph. "We spent a very intense ten years of our lives together, had a lot of fun, made a lot of great music, so for me, this feels like coming home." Bostaph was Slayer's drummer from 1992 until 2001 and recorded four albums with the band - the Gold certified Divine Intervention (1994), the 1996 punk covers album Undisputed Attitude, Diabolus in Musica, (1998), God Hates us All (2001) that received a Grammy nomination for "Best Metal Performance," as well as the DVD War at the Warfield (2001), also certified Gold. In addition to Slayer, Bostaph has been a member of Forbidden, Exodus, Systematic and Testament.

What happened to Dave? I've read ALOT of rumors, but what are the facts about why he's no longer in SLAYER yet AGAIN?!

Are you ready for the 3rd of december?
The 30 years of Slayer activity!
In 2003 Slayer is made Soundtrack to the Apocalypse, what does Slayer make now?
We wait for a new album, you could make a new "Show no mercy" to the groove of "Diabolus in musica".

I'm a slayer fan, i love slayer and i write Slayer in my leg by a kinfe.

Will not be the same without Dave on Drums. You had to be out of your minds to let him go. Drop me a line when you get him back.. Until then.. see ya.

If it is felt this is the right move, then good luck to all. I must tell you Dave looked really hurt and somewhat lost as to this occurring on That Metal Show. It also seems to me it is a mistake to make such a major move after loosing someone. Cooler heads may have prevailed. Not wanting to put anyone down, but Dave is able to play drums at a level not seen since the death of John Bonham. His hands are moving at such a rate the camera is unable to up and his hands become a blur. Slayer's music is so high speed throughout and Dave is the best drummer for sure of the Big Four. I wish everyone good luck, Mr. Bostaph as well.

For me Dave is much good than Bostaph...

P.S.: Happy birthday Tom for the 6 of june...

Fuck! Tom, Kerry! We just lost Jeff!! ...and we don't want to lose Dave! <br>
Why can't you get it together and give us as much original Slayer as possible?!!

Love Lombardo and I love Bostaph!!!! SLAYER!!!

SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC!!!

I get that a lot of us are upset about Dave; however, let's keep in mind none of us know what really happened. IMO people are operating on emotion due to the loss of Jeff...I'm guilty of that as well. No matter how this plays out, Slayer still kicks the shit out of any other band out there. Us Slayer fans have always been considered some of the most loyal and hardcore. Let's see what happens with the new album before rushing to judgement. And remember Paul was with the band for a good amount of time. It isn't as though they brought in some jackass no one has ever heard of. And BTW, happy birthday KFK Smiling

Everyone needs to calm down about Dave/Paul...Slayer still (and always will) reigns.

WELCOME BACK PAUL!!! KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING GARY!!! YOU FUCKING DO A KILLER JOB!!!!!! GOB BLESS ALL IN SLAYER!!!!!!

CHRIS"FELL A VICTIM"(R) Slay

The fans wanted Dave's back. I'm OK with Paul coming back though, he's a class act.

Great news!
It is a pity that previously failed to return Bostaph in band....
I hope the band will continue to release albums! \,,/
