SLAYER AND MEGADETH TO WREAK "CARNAGE" THROUGHOUT EUROPE
First there was "Canadian Carnage," then there was "American Carnage," and now, two of the bands that defined the thrash/metal genre, Slayer and Megadeth, announce the European Carnage Tour, set to kick off March 13 in Kiev, Russia. Over 22-plus dates, Slayer and Megadeth will assault their way from one end of Europe to the other, wreaking carnage in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria, and Switzerland.
The last time Slayer toured Europe with Megadeth was back in the Fall of 1990 on the original Clash of the Titans tour. Slayer had just released its fifth studio album, "Seasons In The Abyss" which went on to become a million-selling classic, boasting tracks like "War Ensemble," "Dead Skin Mask," "Expendable Youth,"and the title track.
With one more date to be announced, here are the European Carnage tour dates.

We Americans would love to see the Big 4 make it over here to North America!
It seems like europe gets all the huge gigs!
I did however get to see you in september in portland oregon,
and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen!

Back in 1992 or 93, I saw Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, w/ special guest Alice In Chains, ( CLASH OF THE TITANS ) it was the loudest, most thrash-in concert, I have ever been to, I especially, loved it when Alice In Chains was booed of the stage. This was in Omaha Ne, and I have never seen a band booed off the stage before, I thought that was cool, Alice In Chains had no business, being on that tour, that was when they first came out, and to tour w/ the 3 biggest band in thrash metal, come on they deserved to get booed off. However, the publicity the got from being on that tour, was insane, that put them over the top, in their category of rock, I still will not call them METAL. In short, CLASH OF THE TITANS, was one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I wish they would do it again.

I saw Slayer and Megadeth in Holland with the "Clash of the Titans' tour. That was great. Just bought the tickets fot the next show in Holland (Eindhoven). Can't wait. Hope to speak with Tom again as I did a view month ago in Tilburg (Holland)

Kiev is in UKRAINA not Russia and Czechoslovakia doesn't exist anymore (Czech Republic and Slovakia now).

Unfortunately no Big 4 in Holland, but a night with Slayer and Megadeth during the European Carnage tour covers that pretty much! See you guys there!
