  • I was lucky enough to get to go and see the boys play in Camden last night. The show was awesome! Typically tight sounding thrashing Slayer show. Getting to see "Old School Slayer Night" was perfect for me as 85-90 was when my musical taste was developed and I know the lyrics of every album front to back from that time period. Absolutely all my favorites! The pit was a little active throughout the show but I can tell that the Slayer audience is getting a little older as I ...
  • Just saw Slayer in Columbus for the first time, and also the first metal show I've been too. Big eye opener getting clocked in the face in the first 5 minutes, but it was rad as hell. Shit got gnarly and heavy and it was exactly how I imagined it'd be
  • Ok so I just signed up for an account n I am 25 been to plenty of metal shows, super big fan of Megadeth, I've seen them like 5 times. Any way I'm like 5"11' benching 365 n pretty much fuck up shit in the pit!!! So i haven't been to a Slayer concert yet!!! I'm going to see them this Friday in Las Vegas. I hear stories about the Slayer shows my older cousins been to back in the 90's but they don't get down in the pit like I do!! Some ppl like sky ...
  • My first Slayer shows were when they co-headlined Pantera's two final U.S. Tours. I was 15. Went to the show alone, don't remember how I got home a hour away. concerts pre-9/11 were fucking crazy! First thing I wanted to do was get high and mosh, held my own for awhile until some fat kid started skanking and punched me in the mouth. Got cheap shotted in the back by a skinhead, there were a lot of them there for Pantera obviously. I remember making it through WAR ENSEMBLE. The ...

After being in the Army for four years and missing you guys all four years, YOU GUYS COME TO MASS!! I'll be there and can't wait to fucking mosh my way to hell!!
  • In summer 2011 Slayer was playing the Heavy festival in Toronto so I knew I'd have to make the journey to the big city. The last night's top three headliners (in order of time playing) were Slayer, Billy Talent and then Rob Zombie. Well everyone thought that Slayer was going to close out the festival but to everyone's dismay it looked as if Slayer would technically be opening for Rob Zombie... and Billy Talent. This did not sit well with the hardcore metal crowd of ...

  • I first heard Slayer in 1998. I was 11 at the time. My older brother just bought the Diabolus In Musica tape. I'll probably make a pussy out of myself but at first I was so fucking afraid of this whiteheaded motherfucker on the cover that I didn't want to get anywhere near this tape. But finally curiosity won. I've put the tape in, pressed play and I waited. It was on side A and the first track was Bitter Peace. At first it was normal. Some guitars, some drums. Just music. ...

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ SATANAS ES EL DIABLO¡¡
GRETTINGS FROM MEXICO

After hearing Cult, a definite masterpiece, on the site before the release of Christ Illusion, and knowing Lombardo was back, I was quite sure that Slayer will keep reigning for the 3rd decade of aggression. Now the upcoming album World Painted Blood is the proof for that!
With Grammy awarded songs Eyes Of The Insane and the reissue track Final Six, both for best metal performance, I think the album proved itself. Best album of the year, from the greatest band in the world. Hail Slayer!

Back to they're ultimate best here. Every song a classic. Love it!!!!

This album is a very good album, with fuckin' greats song.
On the Unholy Alliance 2 " preaching to the Perverted" in 2006, i' ve seen Slayer seven times in europe with In Flames, Lamb of God, Children of Bodom & Thins Eye Bleed.
I was in Wintethur ( Switzerland ) on October 23th, in Munich ( Germany ) on 27th, in Boblingen Stuttgart ( Germany ) on 28th, in Paris ( France ) on November 7th, in Leuven ( Belgium ) on 9th & London ( England ) on 19th & 20th.
During the tour they played until four songs from this album, i ' ve seen live Cult, Eyes of the Insane, Jihad & Supremist at the end of the tour.
It was a fuckin' great tour with very good band, & i have very good memories of this.

After this tour i' ve seen Slayer in Strasbourg at la Laiterie on june 7th 2007 after the show i ate a cake with Slayer for Tom birthday.Greats moments.

In 2008 for the Unholy Alliance 3 i' ve seen Slayer eleven times in Europe so on October 30th & 31 th in London ( England ) on November 5th in Offenbach ( Germany ) on 6th in Koln ( Germany ) on 9th in Sttutgart ( Germany ) on 10th in Winterthur ( Switzerland ) on 11th in Paris ( France ) on 14th in Milan ( Italy ) on 16th in Wien ( Austria ) on 17th in Praha ( Czech Republic ) & on 18th in Munich ( Germany ).
During this tour they played on few shows the complete Reign in Blood album, & it was absolutely perfect.

I'm so glad they put Final Six on the end of this album. It really does finnish it off perfectly. The original release did feel like it was missing something, and apparently it was left off because Tom was ill when he was due to record the vocals to the song, So it wasn't finnished in time to be included.I'm glad they re-released it with that song on. Truely epic!!!!

for me this is my #2 favorite slayer album, is so complete has all the necesary element of old slayer in it. Now I just hear world painted in blood ( y esta cabron)fucking great definity will be the best record of the year sorry for megadeth and metallica but slayer are the King of Trash

SLAYER! A return to form? Slayer in full force.

so fuc"£ng agressive, one of the best slayer album.

People seem to hate on this record... I think it is one of (if not) their finest moment(s). Jihad, Skeleton Christ.... FUCK!!!! A brutal attack on the religious root of war and an amazing protest album.

a solid album with one killer song named "cult". but not the killer album i had expected. nevertheless a good one.
