I'm a Slayer fan because they are were willing to be different and get away from trends and shit when they started in the Eighties. I mean, these guys had twice the influence on me than Metallica, Anthrax, or Megadeth because they just rip the guitar and drums and vocals and they just do what THEY want and not what anybody else wants them to do. The just stay Slayer and their songs actually have some meaning. And by the way, there one of the ONLY bands that had a kickass album in '09.
