I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Slayer remain as genuine and aggressive as the day they first started. You know their next album isn't gonna have multi-track laden guitar effects or 'guest' musicians playing improvised Theremin solos over the top of a 260 BPM track. It's Slayer, so expect lots of tremolo picking, double bass pedals, crazy noodling solos and the almost guaranteed use of the word 'Insanity.'

If you're still not convinced then why not attend one of Slayer's renound social gatherings where chances are you'll have a pint bought for you by the guy you nutted in the pit and the near certainty that you too will leave with an injury to remember the evening by!
