I'm sure it was much more of an inconvenience and discomfort for Tom to have to get operated on than it is for us fans to wait for a rescheduled date...even if in our minds it seems an ion away. You pussies stop your whining and man up a little bit anyway. I am disappointed that the Nashville show looks to be delayed by 9 months or more; but Toms health is more important than my selfishness of wanting to see them soon.
I hope Tom is feeling 100% when I get to see Slayer again...and I know I will see them again because like you I already have a ticket.
