Reign In Blood

  • I was twelve years old and decided to go to my second Slayer show at Heavy T.O.. Me and my brother were waiting for Raining Bloods drum beat to start. I was soo excited i was ready to jump in that pit and RAISE HELL!! At that point i still had blood on my shirt from Anthrax and my nose was close to being broken. We heard the beat and i`d wondered where the pit was and asked `` Wheres the pit brent?`` He said that it doesnt start right away and I noticed the everybody split to to sides. I ...
  • I been dating Danny for a few years, our 1st concert was Mayhem fest boy he was sure not prepared for my love of metal and Slayer! I have to say he was quite impressed with the metal show that was going on, he said babe I never knew you loved metal as much as you do, I said just wait Slayer hasnt even come on yet and when they do, your going to see the BEST BAND EVER!! Slayer came on and they were so loud for an outside venue, my ears were ringing for days after and my neck hurt from ...

They opened with Raining Blood, a pit breaks out i don't hesitate and jump in, The song ends and this guy comes up to me and says "You need to calm down a little". (I look at him confused i did nothing out of the norm i wasn't hurting anyone ). Finally said "Ok ill calm down when Kerry King puts down his guitar, gets off the ...

  • I saw Slayer in 2009, on the Mayhem festival. It started out with me & my guitarist at the time. We were to save up money to get seat tickets a few months before the show in West Palm Beach Florida. Well the night before the concert he tells me after we get done jamming out that he can't make the show. So I demand my money back from him..(i gave him money to stash so i didn't spend it) He tells me "it's at the bank". I offer a ride to get money, he refuses. He promises to have it the ...

I have seen Slayer 11 times, and I would consider myself a diehard fan. I'm 49 years old, and have been listening to then for the better part of my life. I have turned my 15 year old son onto them, and have taken him to 2 shows,...he loves it! At the last show we saw them was in Portland Oregon on the "Hell on earth" tour with Zombie and Exodus. Now you guys may not want to read this, but I'm not real good at sugar coating things,...so I'll just put it out there; Slayer was so fucking ...

I've seen slayer live seven times with my most recent one being with exodus and rob zombie. I wasn't disappointed at all even though Jeff Hanneman wasn't playing I still had a blast. My friends that had never been to a slayer show are now hooked and are ready to go again next summer. Hope you get well Jeff and I hope to see you again sometime next summer. Horns up!!!

the first time I saw slayer, was too excited because I had never seen before and was anciosa that the day of the concert came but a little nervous. had to travel to london to see and buy my ticket well in advance, so I wanted to make the time pass quickly for it to arrive the day. I only asked a question: why on Sunday?, and the truth a concert on Sunday is not good without alcohol (haha: P). but hey the band played very well, never forget that day and would like to see them again .... ...

I went to see the hell on earth tour on 8/6/11 in seattle. I sat through exodus and rob zombie (most people were there for slayer) When Rob zombie finished I went to the floor to mainly run through the mosh pits. Probably the most intense moshpit was during war ensemble or raining blood or angel of death. lots of people were fallin over thankfully I didnt, but slayer was freakin awesome as usual.
  • I've been waiting almost 25 years to see Slayer. This show was all that I dreamed of. I had no idea Exodus was going to be there. They definitely are a great band and got the crowd warmed up by getting several pits going. Sure brought back memories of parties we had back in high school. Meeting up in someones basement, cranking up the tunes and having our own moshpit listening to Toxic Waltz. 4th time I’ve seen Zombie. Good stage show as usual. Now Slayer…. They kicked ass!!! No ...

Reign in blood has to be he greatest album ever composed by slayer it has evreything which defines their music such as mayhem and just raw talent

THE best album ever released by anyone, bar none. Genre defining, ground breaking, thought provoking etc etc. Without this, who knows? Every metal fan owes everything they are and have to this one album. Thanx Slayer.....

the best album in the whole world! its really amazing best song on it would have to be jesus saves

In my opinion, not only is REIGN IN BLOOD the best SLAYER album ever released, but it;s also the best thrash album ever released by any thrash band on the planet. In a relatively short running time of 28 minutes and 59 seconds SLAYER unleashes a fury of raw, seething, burst of power that remains unequalled since 1986 to present day. REIGN IN BLOOD was the foundation SLAYER laid for all their albums to come, and, became the gold standard for metal bands ( thrash/ speed or otherwise) to be measured by.The skull crushing songs like ''Necrophobic'' and classics ''Jesus Saves'' and Raining Blood''are permanant features at all SLAYER concerts and unstandably so....these sonic masterpieces are the beating heart of SLAYER. In just under half an hour,SLAYER created a chilling , power packed album that changed the face of thrash forever.
