I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Wow I was into Slayer since they released their first album. It was a real shift in the times as most kids liked gay ass music back then. I was into metal and rock but herd Slayer and was like CRAP! The riffs and the drums ,,,the energy and they beauty and flow of their music was just awesome. They really could have sang about pink and yellow rainbows and it would have been just as cool. But they Slayer is in your face and goes bam!! Satan star and makes you go wow this is got to be dark and deep man. Oh the rumors of the days how Slayer took their music right out of the satanic bible and rumors of the concert made you think you may not come back alive. This just added to Slayer as a great band. I never thought they would have been in it for what is not 25 30 years. Kerry King is just mind blowing on Guitar and I have a lot of respect for all the members of the band. They worked very hard and for an old fart now, I can really enjoy them on many levels not just because I feel like breaking some shit.
So I would say that Slayer did it right and was really cool and smooth. They really could not be any more awesome. That is how come music sucks these days.....You just can't top the greats like Slayer.
Thank You Slayer for everything you have blessed us with...Seems like the Gods will not be denied...for thoes who study a bit....lol ironic isnt it...
