What the FUCK?????? This is startin' pissin me the fuck off!!!! How can you re-schedule the Portland show in Hillsboro Oregon????? It's a piece of shit fairgrounds. Don't you realize there's probably gonna be a 75% chance of rain here Labor Day weekend?!?! I don't know who booked this date for you guys, but they should be fired!!! This is a horrible venue and if the show had originally been scheduled here I would have never purchased a ticket in the 1st place. Hey Slayer....I want my fuckin' money back!!!! You guys seriously need to step up and either offer refunds for this show or have it booked back @ the Coliseum. If ticket sales are a problem for you guys here, then get it booked @ the Roseland. Hell, even the Salem Armory would be better than the fairgrounds...and that venue sucks truckloads of green donkey dicks!!! Anyway, ask the guys in Mudvayne or Black Label Society...they were here last year...they'll tell you how bad it is. The Hillsboro fairgrounds is not a place for a metal show. I'm begging you to bring it back to the Coliseum. If not...it really sucks that I wasted my money.

I don't know what the fuck this dudes crying for. I went to Pedal to the Metal at Washington County Fairgrounds and it fuckin rocked. Sounded way better than the coliseum ever did. I've been to several shows at the coliseum and the sound sucks ass, you can't mosh, can only drink in the beer gardens, it sucks. When I heard it was rescheduled at the fairgrounds I was stoked. Outdoors,(if you don't like the rain move to Cali you puss), watch the show while drinking, killer sound, hit the pit if you want, chill on the grass and watch if you want. Hell fuckin ya for the venue..... good choice!!!

I am Fucking grateful Tom will be able to continue touring !! Fuck an A !! Sounds like a close call. I've see both Slayer and Megadeth 6 times. Both bands have been a big part of my life since 85'. I've only seen them together once. At Clash of the Titans. Testament wasn't there, I had to settle with Alice n Chains. What Ever. I've only seen Testament twice. Another one of my all time favorites!!!!! I hope to Fucking God there going to be there!!!! When I heard about the show I ran out the door and bought "floor" tickets at a higher price. I've never seen a lame Slayer show ever. Some of the Megadeth shows were questionable beacause you couldn't hear Daves voice. He blew out his PA down at the Salem Armory once. That was a good one!!! I woud rather see the show outside,but I agee with some of what BMHSW is saying. Since I payed extra for a floor seat so I could get my mosh on and get more picks from all three bands...can I get a free shirt or something?? Plus, I saw that Black Label / Static-X show. Come to find out their is a sound ordinance at the WA County Fairgounds. Static could only play for 15-20 min because the whole party had to end at 10PM SHARP !!! I hope if Testament is there.... they have time to play longer than that!!!! Allso now I have to drive over 30 min Vs a 15 min light rail trip! If I had a better car I would drive down to Medford to see Megadeth, Testament down there. I just dont want to leve feeling jipped. Witch I dont think can happen at a FUCKING SLAYER SHOW!!!!!!!

Slayer couldn't come on my husband and I's 1st anniversary which was the date canceled, couldn't come august 4th on my birthday, but I really love the timing of this concert. I wish it was a Halloween theme with vampires, skulls, devils, etc. Since this concert is well between by b-day and Halloween. And oh, this is my first concert of my life time. Congrats SLAYER! You get to break my Concert Cherry!

Same deal here. Seen Slayer multiple times. Hope Tom's back is ok. The venue is fine - you make the best of what it is and rage accordingly. So glad they didn't get too big of heads and miss the core of the NW. Stoked that they are playing Seasons and RiP (Megadeth). Get yer rest the night before dudes, cuz OR needs an infusion of Slaytanic might.

Only one week and four days away!!!!! Dream come true for me.....seen Slayer multiple times and Testament once......but never all three on the same stage!! I hope the sound at the venue works out and that security officers aren't dicks about people drinking and smokin herb. I think we are the only outdoor venue on this tour so it's going to be epic!!!!!!!! Best sound I've ever heard from Slayer was at an out door Rock Fest at Portland Meadows in 99. Will review again after the show and will post on Tales from the Pit. I envy all who will see them in the fall with Anthrax!

so the tickets i bought almost a year ago that say memorial coliseum on them, will they still be honored at the fairgrounds?

Your tickets are still good, we picked ours up last October.
On the flyer it says all previously bought tickets will be honored.

Show was absolutely perfect!!! F*ck those who doubted the sickness and awsomeness of the show being at the fairgrounds. Best Slayer show I've ever been too! Best sound production I've maybe ever witnessed. I'm glad we got to be the one's who embraced an outdoor venue on this tour. The collosium would've sounded like ass compared to sat. night. Really mellow crowd, fun mosh pits, cute girls, multiple food vendors....couldn't have asked for any better. However, there was one down side....the set lists could have been longer....only 40 min. for testament, and an hour and 10 min. each for Megadeth and Slayer. Also, the fair grounds has a 10pm curfue shut down time, so the show started early...at 6pm. For more on the set list, read my post on Tales from the Pit.
