Quite possibly the most underrated album in the history of metal. Even die-hard fans dismiss it as a nod to nu metal. While there's plenty of drop-d tuning and some slower, crushing riffs (Screaming from the Sky, Overt Enemy, others), nothing could be further from the truth. Just listen to Perversions of Pain and Bitter Peace. Both of those songs are very typical, tight and perfectly-executed Slayer works of art.
And yet we NEVER get to hear any of these songs live!! Wake up Slayer! Put Stain of Mind of Screaming From the Sky into the set list!Weiterlesen
