I enjoyed it though not as cool as a concert, nor loud enough, But I have never seen Slayer so it was like love at first sound and sight!!! I wished I had took the time early on to hear their / your stuff.

Being on the Big Sceen though could sure see all well....it was cool

ok guys i was there i live here in Sofia finally i saw Slayer live for me its celebraintion 20 years of heavy metal this year. well the setlist of Metallica was really litle disapointin but Tom Jeff Kerry was like explosion at the stage excelent part of the concert, but the weather was f**ing bad that evening there was extreme pour the luck wasent at our and the bands `s side.we all was so wet,i was drink only five beers but i was in another dimension, finally the pour stop and hour later Metallica hit the stage.
When all musicians eccept Tom Jeff came in the stage befor us i felt like in 1991 september 15 i was for first time at concert of Sodom i was twelve years old well three days ago i felt so younger again reborn and evil for minute or two extremly like this far septemer 15. i`ll rember this night and i`ll get the dvd when it came out .but for me wasent enough.there was about 50000 metal maniacs in the stadium, after the concert the cops leave us to make what we wanted to all night

I saw the show live in Sofia. And it is amazing that such a great event happened in my home town. Slayer were the main part of the night. In my opinion. It was the second Slayer concert for me, after 2002 Sofia concert (when I had the opportunity to meet with Tom and Kerry) and I can say the show was brutal, as brutal as the previous one. I have only one word - THRASHISFIED (still consider the word is mine). Greetings from Sofia! And come back soon!

I attended the showing..It was kinda weird because I thought it was gonna be completely Live but it seems that there was a delay..because they didn't show any of the Guitar or drum testing..But Slayer kicked Ass..Megadeth put on a good show. Anthrax was "bleh" in my book. Some great guitar riffs but I didn't like how the singer sings. Metallica I feel has lost a step. Lars stands up WAAAAYYY too much for a drummer...Kirk found some of skill back but still played some solos with flaw. James Harmonizes and "sings" too much..Where is his grungy voice he used to have??? And the new bassist made himself look like a fool in front of the world..Monkey crawling the stage?? WTH dude Your in a metal band...The biggest in the world...Yeah he's very talented but just kinda childish to me..Anyways Great Great show...Very much History.. P.S. Why didn't Slayer attend in "Am I Evil" Was I the only one to notice this..Only Lombardo came out..my eyes were searching the stage and I didn't see Tom, Kerry, or Hanneman???

The Acronym for Slayer-Satan Laughs as you Eternally Rot

OMG!!!!!! it was great, the movie theater didnt look like a movie theater all of us started moshing in front of the screen, im only 14 so during raining blood i started jumping and someone pushed me so i fell down and there was broken glass so i cut both of my legs and my hand and then some one ripped the screen, i had a really nice time I LOVE YOU SLAYER, btw nice shirt tom

Hi i'm Massimo from ITALY PADUA, i'm very happy, when i've see the event i buy immediately the tickets. The people at the beginning are sitting, but when Slayer come out many have gone under the screen to headbanging! World Painted Blood are a great song and the transition from the SOLOS to the last verse are GREAT!!! I love "Hate worldwide" great song with great lyrics!! Againts the regligions! PLEASE PLAYS "NOT OF THIS GOD" TOO!!! great show i've enjoyed all. Beautiful close up of Kerry and Jeff with the horizon. I want the DVD. The sounds and the pictures are perfect. The theatre are FULL... yeah!!!

I have been a fan of all 4 of these bands for over 25 years. Slayer is my stand out favorite.
This was an amazing event with all of the bands. Slayer & Metallica rocked the house. I hope you do come to the States.
I am seeing Slayer in August for the American Carnage Tour. Can't wait...
I was a little shocked to hear how bad Dave Mustaine's voice was at times. Also I wish John Bush had sang instead of Belladonna. I know Belladonna is the original singer but Bush is soo much better.

Awsome! The hold theather were in flames when you started Angel of death!

The big 4 movie was great best time besides actualy being at the show I think all 4 bands killed it but why was lombardo the only one to come out and jam am iIevil but i absolutly loved it please bring this to the states

I thought the experience was terrific. Anthrax was excellent, Megadeth was excellent (but Dave's vocals are getting a bit harsh), and Metallica was terrific. However, I would have to say that the only one of the four that has lost nothing over the years is Slayer. They OWNED it.....and they're not even my favorite of the four. They sounded as good, if not better, than all the times I have seen them in the past (even 20 years ago). They are like a good wine, if you know what I mean.
The sound in the theater was similar to a real concert....it just kept getting louder as it went on. Kicking back and enjoying popcorn was a nice treat. It was hilarious seeing a mosh pit in a movie theater. That truly was a singular experience.
Overall, loved the whole thing.
Oh yeah, and props for Anthrax and the producers of the show setting aside time to salute Ronnie James.
Long live Dio!

Dave
Portland, OR

We travelled from Serbia to the gig. We weren't prepared for what we were to see.
We missed the first half of Anthrax, because the starting time on the tickets was labelled 5 pm, but on the posters it was 3 pm. Megadeth was cool, even with the rainshower at the beginning of Holy Wars. The only thing that put it down was the fact that you could hardly hear the guitars from inside the crowd. Other than that, brilliant.
Then came Slayer. You guys made no time for chit-chat, you came and peeled off everyones faces. This was the second time I saw you, and it was incredible once again. I was really surprised you played Chemical Warfare. Damn, the whole set was good. I could stand a bit longer set, because you were my primary favourites on the show , but hell I'm satistfied with the fact that I could see you anyway.
Metallica did put up a show. It was tight, loud and in the true meaning of the word: spectacular.

The only thing that made me grin a bit was the lack of everyone but Dave at the encore. I kind of suspected that Jeff, Tom and Kerry will be there banging, and maybe Tom singing a line just as the other guys did. At least Tom came out and did a photo or two with the rest of the bunch. So this last thing was a disappointment for me, and I believe for many of your fans

Slayer was by FAR the best band their and they had the best stage presence their (Metallica cheated by using fancy fireworks and shit 2 get the crowd pumped). It kinda sucked 2 b in theater a little bit because there wasn'e room to mash or anything and i was really dissapointed when Sayer didn'e play Disciple, however it was still a great show and that's probaly the closest i will ever come to seeing Slayer live because good bands never come near West Kentucky (i don't blame them because people in general tend to stay away from here)

I started a pit in the goddamn theater in Nashville when you all did Am I Evil! Fucking iconic moment! I had my 14 yrold daughter with me; before last night she thought she had the coolest Dad in the world, now she knows she does!
I truly hope we get a N American leg of this tour. I believe with 4 shows; one in the NE, SE, NW, and SW they could sell 300,000 tickets easy.

I do agree with older posts. It was a waste of time 30 minutes of blah blah, drum check, check and then no pause between bands, and Slayer's setlist seemed kind of short. Excellent song selection for such a short set. Sound mix was far from what I have seen live in person, but it was better than Anthrax's , Megadeth's and Metallica's (how can anybody forget that HORRIBLE sound off Mustaine's voice that sounded like the "wah" pedal??? or Anthrax's overwhelming drums, or Metallica's muffled cymbals).
Luckily at the movie theater I went to (Houston, Texas) the volume was turned up for Slayer, since it was kind of low before.
An amazing performance from Slayer, and worth mentioning Tom wearing Chile's soccer team's jersey was special. (Viva Chile Mierda!!!)
A little bummed about not everybody in Slayer doing "Am I Evil" but just Dave. Not 100% sure, but it seemed like everybody from the other 3 bands was there except Slayer.
Very cool graphics on the guitar with the "Heineken" look-a-like, and Kerry Fucking King's guitars were very nice. I liked the first one the most. A "V" mixed with a "Beast"!!! Awesome!!!
As always Slayer delivered the top notch performance we are so used to see, and always giving 110% to us, the fans.
Thanks for putting such a great (although short) show!!!!
And thanks for giving us a chance to tell you what we thought of it!!!!

We posted the final track here: http://www.releaselist.net/reviews/2010/06/22/the-big-four-live-in-sofia-bulgaria-playing-diamondheads-am-i-evil/

Expect a full review and more video at RELEASELIST.net very soon! We loved you guys!

I was in the cinema in my hometown (Szeged, Hungary) and this is the only cinema in this country where you can see the show from Bulgaria! It's a great thing, because Szeged is not the capital city, and Slayer don't play in my country in the last five years (Why???)! So, it was good to see Slayer...

BUT: I don't care about Anthrax (Megadeth and Metallica) but we need to watch the drum check, the guitar check, and everything before, and only before Anthrax, and it was 30 minutes. 30 minutes without music... Slayer just came in and play, then go out! It was only 40 minutes, and it isn't live! And the sound... ...it was shit! Not just the sound of Slayer, but as I said, I don' care about the other bands! I saw slayer two times (2003, 2005) and I have Slayer live CD's, DVD's, Slayer is my favourite band, without them there is no metal for me, and without them there is no metal like this in this world, so I know they are better (the best!), but this cinema thing doesn't works out good!
Slayer really played only 40 minutes? I don't believe this! Where is songs like Dead Skin Mask, Dittohead, Hell Awaits, Disciple, Bloodline, Postmortem???
And the people on the show... Metallica t-shirts and fans everywhere, people just sitting. Me and some of my friends stand up, screaming the lyrics, and headbanging for Slayer, but thats all...

So, for me, it was good to saw Slayer, saw Dave drumming as hard as he can, saw Jeff and Kerry riffing , and to saw Tom singing, and to saw that devilish smile on his face! Smiling
It was great!
BUT NEXT TIME WE WANT TO SEE SLAYER REALLY LIVE, ON A HUNGARIAN STAGE, AND NOT IN AN UGLY CINEMA! Smiling

It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best day of my life!!!!!! Never experienced anything that awseame of that magnitude!!!!!!!.
Athrax got it crazy and brutal!!!!!!! Total chaos. Megadeth brought the thunder of the gods down with shredding lightning!!!
Slayer brought the Apocalypse out of Hell. Metallica defined Heavy Metal!!!!!! And heard Metal around the galaxy when all four played!!!!!! Slayer you guys are phenomenal. Mr. Tom Araya was incredible even though having all that bad stuff happen to you your still as badass as you were young!!!! The best day of my life!!! Thank you Big Four!!!!!

A couple of friends and I went to our local movie theatre to see you guys and the rest of the big four yesterday. Anthrax and Megadeth were amazing. I was glad to see Joey Belladona back and David Ellefson aswell. When you guys came to the stage people were already pumped but you guys made it a whole lot crazier. People stood up and were singing along. All of sudden some guy in the front starts stomping the hell out of this chair in the front. He broke the back part of the chair off and threw it at the screen. And then a bunch of people including myself and my friends started to mosh in the open area in the front. They stopped the show and turned on lights and warned everyone that they would kick everyone out without a refund. Slayer was great but they turned down the volume after the moshing, so it was kind of hard to hear it from all the people yelling at the staff to turn it up. I thought it was great that you guys had that little part for Ronnie James Dio. After that we were only able to see Metallica play two songs before some cops came in and kicked everyone out. Everyone was able to get a refund. Other than leaving early I'd say it was pretty fun night watching you guys play.

AMAZING!!! it truly was history last night. to see Mustaine and Lars on the same stage let alone hug eachother and smile was more than enough. the Am I Evil collab was just...beyond words. Joey's voice got even better then his early years, and his Red Bull thing was hilarious. Dave's voice was sketchy in the beginning, but getting abck to teh Rust stuff, it really came out. Chris even pulled through and played Marty's stuff very well, something thats nearly impossible. Metallica gave one hell of a performance, with everything being played relatively faster. harvester of Sorrow knocked me out, and the lack of new stuff made it fun. With kirk's additions to his solo's really made everything original, and it seems Rob just keeps getting better and better. But at teh theatre i was at, the sound went off during the Master of Puppets intro, and again when they left the stage, but other than that, it was pure history. And last but not least...Seeing Slayer play Chemical Warfare just put me in schock. Even on a new kit, Dave still kicked ass. jeff really pulled out his best solo work, and toms voice was rough and tough, just like back in the day. You guys really gave them hell, made alot of people bleed, and just like every other show you guys dominated, kicked MAJOR ass! and is it just me, or does kerry use oversized guitars? cuz they all look really big. Looking foward to seeing you guys in august. im gunna make sure i shed blood for you guys, the Gods of Metal.

may Slayer be with you all! \m/

we started a mosh pit in the movie theater!!!! until the fucking dick of a manager came and broke it up...

awsome show...setlist was a little disapointing but all in all fuckn awsome...Is there gonna be a U.S. Big 4!?!?!?!?!?!?

but dave was the only member from slayer that played am i evil with the other bands, why werent jeff tom and kerry on stage for that?

Cool thing!!!!

Great set! Performance and attitude were 'true' Slayer. No competing. Just were yourselves. Nice to see. I particularily liked Tom's evil menacing grimace. That disdain with the mane and touches of grey really show the psychosis with that red vibe background. Well done! Great to see Anthrax's enthusiasm, Megadeth's cool reserve, Slayers evil vibe, and Metallica's good cheer. I was proud of all. The set lists were all very pleasing. The theatre rocked out, so you know it was good. Talkin metal before the show was fun as well. Movie theater experience was a cool thing. And the performances were all really good. Alot of jamming with GREAT solos particularily. A truely cherished experience. Thank you so much guys! Love you all. (In an evil/non-gay way of course.) Horns (inverted) to all. Hail!

I saw the concert at Cinemark

Anthrax showed up to start and blew the doors off. They came to play and did just that.

Megadeth was awesome, I've never seen them live but great show and setlist.

Slayer was there to collect a check. I've seen Slayer live 5 times. I don't know whats up with the band. At one of the local venues you could wait and possibly get a autograph. 2 different shows Kerry came out and signed stuff for the fans, one time jeff walked to the bus and gave us the finger.

REALLY -- Everyone was on the stage except Kerry, Tom, and Jeff.... wait... Tom at least came out for the group photo. Everyone says MetallicA got old and is goin down hill...

METALLICA Rocked like usual even though their setlist was cut down and could've been better.

THE BIG 4 is supposed to unite the 4 big bands together... but slayer is too good for that i guess....

LOVED THE WHOLE MOVIE!!!!!! ESPICALLY SLAYER!!!!!! MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT TO SLAYER!!!!!! CHRIS SLAY

CHRIS"FELL A VICTIM"(R) Slay

Yeah, I saw the BIG 4 in Sofia!!!! I was at the show and of course it was awesome! Unfortunately, the sound wasn't good at all. The Slayer's set was little short but maybe it was better that way because otherwise noone would stay alive to see Metallica.
